A crew member of tanker NEW PROGRESS died during transportation on Jan 1 north off Keelung, Taiwan, reported Taiwanese English News, according to FleetMon.

It stated: “He was twice stabbed by another crew member during a fight, in chest and abdomen. 27-year old Myanmar nationality was airlifted and transported to the hospital, to be declared dead on arrival. Tanker reached Keelung late Jan 1, CG was to arrest the perpetrator and carry out an investigation.”
