Spaces for Change holds consultative dialogue on online safety in July

Spaces for Change, S4C, a non-governmental organization working to defend the civic space through research, advocacy, policy influencing, and intersectoral engagement, has concluded plans to hold a stakeholder consultative dialogue between civil society organizations and the private sector in July Lagos, Nigeria.
Specifically, the engagement, expected to attract many stakeholders, including investors and human rights activists is targeted at examining the ways and means of improving online safety and increasing respect for the digital rights of citizens while achieving business and economic objectives.
The organization is also involved in delivering training, technical support, and didactic convening to enhance the capacities of civic actors, coalitions, networks, and alliances to better manage internal and external challenges affecting their digital security and online engagement platforms.
