OIL DEAL: Iraq, Kurdistan close to exporting more than 400,000 bpd

The government of Iraq and Kurdistan are close to exporting more than 400,000 barrels per day, bpd in the coming months.
Iraq’s oil minister, Hayyan Abdul Ghani, who confirmed the development, said: “Regarding the agreement with the Region, we have reached the final stage and hopefully we will reach the final agreement on the exportation of crude oil within a maximum of two weeks.”
Earlier, Iraq’s Prime Minister, Mohamed Shia al-Sudani, had said that Iraq would restart the export of crude oil from the Kurdistan region within days.
