The prices of crude oil has started to rise in the global market as the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC and its allies plan meeting.

For instance, the price of Nigeria’s Bonny Light rose to $120 per barrel, from $118 per barrel, as it becomes apparent that the organisation and its allies have concluded plan to meet.

In an advisory obtained by The Daily, https://thedaily-ng.com, OPEC, stated: “In light of the current restrictions and challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 184th Meeting of the OPEC Conference is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 29 June 2022, at 13:00 (CEST) via videoconference. On Thursday, 30 June 2022, the 42nd JMMC Meeting is slated to convene at 13:00 (CEST) via videoconference. The 30th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting is planned for the same day, 30 June 2022, at 13:30 (CEST) via videoconference.”
